LG Energy Solution first announced the Voluntary Replacement Program on February 24, 2021, and subsequently expanded it to include additional battery models in August 2021.
Update (November 2022) - Additional batteries that are part of the voluntary corrective action (diagnostic software update): LG Energy Solution recently notified a new voluntary corrective action that applies to home storage batteries with cells manufactured between January 21, 2016 and March 28, 2017 or between September 14, 2018 and June 30, 2019 (hereafter Diagnostic Software Update). If your device has not already been replaced under the voluntary replacement program, please recheck your product to determine if your device is affected by the Diagnostic Software Update.
